Every Nakshara strap is meticulously crafted by hand, using carefully selected leathers and traditional techniques refined over time.

We hand-stitch our straps using the saddle stitch method — a technique superior to machine (lock) stitching, since if the thread is ever cut or worn at one point, the rest of the stitching stays intact and won't unravel. It's slower to do by hand, but it's why our straps are built to last.

We use a range of carefully sourced leathers, including alligator-embossed calfskin, suede, and full-grain leathers, sourced from India and select tanneries abroad. We choose each hide for grain quality, durability, and how well it will age with wear.

We line our straps with a range of high-quality materials, including Haas Zermatt leather, imported calfskin, in-house tanned Terra calfskin, and goatskin — chosen based on the strap style and the kind of comfort and durability we're aiming for.

Each lining is selected to complement the outer leather, ensuring the strap feels as good against your wrist as it looks.

For reinforcement, we use materials like Velodon and Salamander Sapla — chosen to give each strap added structure and durability without compromising on flexibility or comfort.

This extra layer of reinforcement is part of what helps our straps hold their shape and last for years of regular wear.
